Medford Historical Society's Holiday
Tour of Homes - Sunday, December 2, 2007 -
Featuring the Pinelands Garden Club Christmas Boutique in the Friends Meeting House.


This year’s tour features nine homes in the historic village district of Medford plus Cross Keys School, & Friends Meeting House. Of the residences, the oldest was built in 1863 and most homes are over a hundred years old. Houses and sites will be specially decorated with a unique holiday theme selected by the homeowners. Tickets are $15.00 per person available in advance online at Medford Holiday House Tour or through participating Medford businesses (listed online). On event day, tickets will be available at Friends Meeting House on Union Street. Ticket proceeds fund the restoration of Kirby’s Mill in Medford.

Smithville Mansion "Victorian Home" Tours
December 2, 2007 through January 6, 2008

The Friends of the Mansion Holiday Tour theme is angels this year and the art exhibit will feature paintings, drawings, mixed media and sculpture of angels by local and regional artists. Exhibit may also be viewed with ticketed Holiday Mansion Tour during tour hours. Opening Reception December 12, 7-9pm, free and open to the public.

In 2004, the mansion featured several beautifully decorated rooms, including the dining and tea rooms decorated by the Pinelands Garden Club of Medford. Floral designs featured topiaries made of dried flowers in the traditional Victorian style.

PGC Annual Herb & Perennial Sale - Open to Public

Friday, May 9th, 2008, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Medford Twp. Public Safety Building
Union Street(Across from Freedom Park)


This sale is a fabulous opportunity to buy perennials and herbs!
Reasonably-priced herbs and perennials, including wildflowers and plants from members' own gardens.
Pinelands Garden Club members and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions about what grows well in local gardens.
